By engaging our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions. If you are completing this agreement on behalf of a group, family, or minor, you confirm that you have the authority to accept these terms for all participants.

2.1. Our eye photography process involves the use of a small flash of light to capture fine details of the iris.
2.2. If you or anyone in your group has light sensitivity, epilepsy, or any other condition that may be triggered by bright flashes, please inform us before the session.
2.3. By proceeding, you acknowledge that we are not liable for any discomfort or adverse reactions caused by the use of flash.

3.1. All images undergo minor digital adjustments to enhance clarity and bring out details, while keeping colors and textures as true to real life as possible.
3.2. Due to lighting conditions, reflections, and natural variations in eye color, the final image may appear slightly different from what is seen in person.
3.3. Our goal is to provide an artistic yet authentic representation of your eye, with only minimal retouching for aesthetic balance.

4.1. Our eye images are for artistic and personal use only. They are not to be used for medical, diagnostic, or identification purposes.
4.2. We are not responsible for any interpretations or medical assumptions made based on our images.

5.1. By engaging our services, you grant Iris Photography NZ a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, edit, distribute, and display your eye images for marketing, advertising, and promotional purposes.
5.2. We may use your images on social media, our website, printed materials, and other promotional platforms.
5.3. If you do not wish for your images to be used for promotional purposes, you must inform us before or immediately after your session.

6.1. All sales are final. Due to the artistic nature of our work, we do not offer refunds for dissatisfaction with color variations or digital enhancements.
6.2. If a technical error occurs (e.g., corrupted files, equipment failure), we may offer a refund, re-edit or re-shoot at our discretion.
6.3. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our images or services.

7.1. All images remain the exclusive property of Iris Photography Limited. You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license for personal use only.
7.2. You may not modify, resell, or commercially distribute the images without written permission from us.

8.1. You confirm that you are at least 18 years old or have the express consent of a parent or legal guardian.
8.2. If completing this agreement on behalf of a group or family, you confirm that all individuals (including minors) in your group agree to these terms and that you have the authority to accept them on their behalf.

9.1. We collect personal information solely for order processing and delivery. Your data will not be shared with third parties, except as required by law.

10.1. Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved through informal negotiations. If unresolved, they will be submitted to mediation before any legal action.
10.2. These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and any legal proceedings shall take place in Otago.

11.1. We are not liable for delays or service failures due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, equipment failure, power outages, or government restrictions.

12.1. You agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless Iris Photography NZ Limited and its employees from any claims arising from:

• The use or misinterpretation of your eye images.
• Any discomfort caused by the photography process.
• Any unintended consequences of using the images for non-artistic purposes.
  12.2. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the photography session.

13.1. We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The latest version will always be available on our website.
